Rossi E-cat

16 March 2013 - Cold fusion continued to have a bad reputation among scientists from all branches until Andrea Rossi and his staff Sergio Focardi recently came on the scene with their new E-Cat invention. E-Cats desired function is to store energy created by a small nickel-hydrogen fusion reaction that is stored in a capsule in the E-Cat. To distance themselves from the negative stigma associated with cold fusion, Rossi prefers to use the term LENR to describe his work, or low energy nuclear reaction. Some researchers who have seen demonstrations of this work, believe it will lead to a new era in alternative energy, while some remain unconvinced. There is disagreement among scientists about whether the reaction is chemical or nuclear. Until this question is answered, have Rossi imposed on the companies he deals with, Ampenergo and Defkalion Green Technologies, not to allow foreign investment.
